Wall display ideas. Show off those images!

Wall display ideas are plentiful on the web, but don’t come naturally to us all.  Let’s review:  You have searched for a photographer & found one whose style speaks to your heart.  You’ve spent more hours than you’d like to admit, finding the perfect outfits for everyone.  Your hair has been done & eyebrows touched up.  You have followed your kids around for week with mommy bumper arms to ensure there are no bruises on their face for that special day.  Outfits haven’t been worn to avoid stains, were ironed, carefully laid out (high up) and accessories are ready to add that special touch.  Everyone looks amazing and arrived on time to your session.

I know, I know, even more went into that than I have mentioned.  Photo sessions take a lot of preparation.  But they are worth it. 😉  So, now what?  You’ve had your session and now you are looking at your images that have been provided for you.  Your next task is to think about how you will display these images.  After all of that hard work and time invested, how can you not display them?  You don’t want to just share on facebook and call it a day, do you?  No way!  You want to see these images in your home every day because they will bring a smile to your face.  I promise! Mine do. 🙂

Pinterest is a great place to find inspiration on how to showcase your images.  There are so many ideas from canvases (also consider standouts for a similar look), frames and loose prints.  Here is my board with some ideas.  Magazines are also a great source of inspiration.  Have a friend or family member with a knack for decorating?  Ask them.  Or ask your photographer!  That’s what they are there for. 🙂
