Perry is the 2nd baby I photographed for this family. She is so beautiful!  She came to the studio for her newborn session.  I have to say, Perry did not want to sleep.  She spent the first 3 hours awake.  She wasn’t upset or fussing.  She was just awake.  I think it’s because she was captivated by my smile and didn’t want to miss me.  lol  Okay, okay, it probably wasn’t that.  Finally, she did fall asleep.  Once she was asleep, I worked as quickly as possible.  I had about 15 minutes to get it done.  It just goes to show that newborn sessions take time.  They are hard work.  They require lots of patience.  It’s not so easy to get babies to sleep and keep them there while you mess with them.  But in the end, it’s worth it!  I know mom will cherish these photos and that makes it all worth it.
