Mark & Simone had their NEPA wedding in October. The forecast showed a possibility of rain but that wasn’t on anyone’s mind. I walked into Mane Creations in Honesdale where Simone was getting ready and everyone was full of smiles and excitement. Simone was sitting in a chair having her hair done as she had envisioned for her wedding day. She had her makeup already finished and was sitting quietly. I said hello and she responded and flashed me a big smile. We started talking about her day and she seemed cool and collected. When she was finished she looked beautiful as I knew she would and I couldn’t wait to see her with her dress on. Everyone looked great and we headed off to the groom’s parent’s house where Simone and the girls were to get dressed.
The girls were dressed rather swiftly. There were no major hiccups and everyone was excited to get to the church. Simone and her girls arrived via limo at the church in Honesdale. She stepped out with a smile and was ready to marry the man of her dreams. I had met with Mark prior to the ceremony and he had mutual feelings. He was full of love for the bride he hasn’t yet seen and anxious to call her his wife. The ceremony went beautifully.
We stepped out of the church to see that some clouds were starting to move in but that didn’t stop us. We had their photo session right outside of the church and then headed to a park near their their reception venue. We got in some photos before the rain started. This was a signal that it was time to let the group go and enjoy their wedding reception.
The love this family has for each other is felt by all. It was a pleasure to work with Simone, Mark and their family. They were all very kind. I wish Mark and Simone a long and happy marriage.
