It was a gorgeous April day when I met up with Mike & Karissa at Grey Towers Historical Site.  April sessions can often be on the cool side, so the warmer 70° was a welcomed surprise.  These two love birds are getting married in just over two weeks!  I enjoyed spending the evening with them and exploring this beautiful place.  I got the impression Karissa was a little nervous.  She did exactly what a girl in love should do, she turned to her partner and focused on him.  Isn’t that one of the things we love about our significant other?  We are able to lean on them when we aren’t comfortable or need reassuring.  She warmed up quickly and I learned that the way to get the best out of her was to make her feel silly.  This is what I love about engagement sessions.  Most arrive nervous and half way through or less, they relax and have fun.  I know their wedding day is going to be amazing and beautiful.  We won’t need any warming up because we already did that.  She’s going to be such a beautiful bride!  Luckily, I don’t have to wait long to see her.
