Ana & Michael’s Stroudsmoor wedding was a heartfelt wedding filled with love and excitement, despite the rain. They were married on May 13, 2017. While the skies were filled with dark clouds dropping rain on us, there was so much light and joy coming from the hearts of everyone in attendance. Ana & Michael were smiling from ear to ear the entire day. I really enjoyed feeling Michael’s excitement while he was getting ready. He was so anxious to see his bride and make her his wife. I don’t think I saw him sit still for a moment because the energy was flowing through him. Ana was absolutely beautiful and ready to promise to stand by her best friend for the rest of her life.
I love getting to witness traditions from different cultures. Ana & Michael’s had a Persian Ceremony where they sat in front of a table filled with symbolic items while a canopy was held over their heads. After they consented to marriage, they dipped their little fingers in honey and fed it to each other. This is to symbolize that they will feed each other sweetness and sustenance throughout their lives together.
At the reception they incorporated some Bulgarian traditions. Their wedding reception was full of energy! Ana & Michael danced the majority of the night. I couldn’t help just watching them celebrate and dance together. You could see just how happy they were to be married and having the time of their lives. Those are the moments that I live for. I love when the couples seems to not think that anyone is looking and just get lost in their hearts. It’s like everyone disappears around them and it is just the two of them on the dance floor. I wish them all the happiness and joy that life has to offer.
