Christine and Mike came in from California for their engagement session this past summer. I have to tell you, this couple is so fun! I was not feeling well during their session and the sky was very cloudy and threatened rain. This was the time to do the session, though. It’s not so easy to reschedule when you live clear across the country. They were so sweet to me and although I gave my best pep with a fever, they didn’t hold it against me. They ROCKED their session! They were down for anything and let me tell you, they snuggle like nobody’s watching. 🙂
We started their session at the park in Clarks Summit where they first met in school. It was sweet visiting that sentimental spot with them. After that, we went to Mike’s family’s private property where they have spent lots of time. They love doing things outdoors together, so they naturally wanted to capture this. They were incredibly playful with each other and seemed to be having a great time. I cannot wait to capture their wedding day in June! I have a feeling it will be a favorite. Not only because they are beautiful people who are authentic in front of the camera, but because their love in genuine as are their kind hearts.
When I saw this spot, I immediately thought of The Little Mermaid and just had to shoot here. The whole time I couldn’t get the song out of my head, “There you see her, sitting there across the way… … … Sha la la la la… … … you know you want to kiss the girl.”
