When I first met Cameron & Melissa, I knew.  Don’t you love when that happens?  They were incredibly sweet.  They are so incredibly optimistic and full of hope.  I can tell that they see the good in people.  They are selfless and compassionate.  They value the simplest moments in life, knowing far too well just how fragile life is.  They don’t take their days for granted.

They experienced a heartbreaking loss recently.  I was so sad for them, but they were inspiring.  They leaned on each other.  Their love has such strength.  I know that no matter what life throws at them, they will face it with grace and together.

We met at the Lackawanna State Park on a cold October day.  They stepped out of their car with smiles on their faces and were ready.  We spent our time chatting and laughing while we walked around.  They were game for anything.  Cameron brought his guitar along.  He plays nightly and wanted to incorporate it in their session.  I’m so happy he did.  I enjoyed listening to him play and watching how much Melissa enjoyed hearing it.  It was so cold that it hurt his hands a little.  I’m sure he can agree it was worth it. 🙂  I can see them sitting around a fire pit with friends on summer nights strumming and singing.  Just smiling and enjoying life.  That’s how I will always see them.  I look forward to their wedding next September! It’s going to be amazing, just like them.
