The winter has been long and cold. Spring has officially arrived, but the warmer temperatures have yet to follow. But the cold and windy weather didn’t stop April 5, 2014 from being a beautiful day for Dan & Nicole. It was a day filled with love. The love they had for each other and that their friends and family had for them.
Nicole got ready at her parents’ home. It was a very relaxed environment. Everything went according to schedule. Nicole was calm and so excited to see her and Dan’s son, Daniel. That’s all she wanted to do. Well, next to marrying Dan of course. 🙂 Once Nicole’s makeup was done and she was dressed, she had a first look with her dad. I love the moments.
The ceremony went beautifully. There were so many in attendance to witness the commitment between a couple ready to vow their lives to each other. There was a special blessing over the family where their baby Daniel was brought to the alter. Although, he wasn’t thrilled when he had to leave his mommy and daddy again. He just wanted to stay with them. After the ceremony concluded, it was time to head to the reception venue.
Dan & Nicole’s reception was held at Sand Springs Country Club in Drums, PA. We did their portrait session on the greens. Dan, Nicole and the entire bridal party did an amazing job. It was cold and windy but they were troopers! We were almost blown down a couple of times, but they stood their ground while we quickly got some photos. It was such a wonderful celebration! Everyone seemed to be having a fabulous time. The dance floor was hopping and there were smiles on faces all around.
It was such a pleasure working with Dan & Nicole. I wish them them all the best that life has to offer. Most importantly, strong love.
